The AMS1117 power supply module is a DC/DC buck converter designed to be use to regulate the power to a stable 3.3 V. It works fine with microcontroller projects and prototyping not bothering to build voltage regulator yourself.
The DC/DC 4.5V-7V to 3.3V AMS1117-3.3V Power Supply Module Voltage Regulator 2P is specially designed two pin fixing holes that can be directly fixed on universal board to extend the experiment too.
