- ✓HEAVY SHIELDING: LC-2 is shielded with two high-coverage bare copper braids, one laid directly over the other, for the best possible performance at audio frequencies.
- ✓HUM PREVENTION: LC-2 combats two of the principal causes of subwoofer hum: the shielding helps to exclude induced noise, while the low shield resistance lowers ground potential differences, reducing the likelihood of ground loop hum.
- ✓LOW CAPACITANCE: LC-2s large spacing between shield and center conductor, and the use of a highly foamed dielectric, keep its capacitance around a low 12 pF/foot.
- ✓HIGH FLEX: LC-2 is a thick cable but is surprisingly flexible, with a soft PVC jacket and foam dielectric.
