To oil your shredder simply hold down the reverse button. Press the oil over the entire inlet of the paper while holding the button down. Hold down the reverse button for another 10 seconds to make sure the lubrication has spread into the knives. The 120ml plastic bottle with an elongated tip ensures complete coverage. For use with all cross-cut and micro-cut document shredders. Do not use spray oil to lubricate your shredder. These lubricants are petroleum-based and can pose a serious fire hazard. Use only vegetable based oils like Fellowes Cutting Oil for all micro-cut and cross cut paper shredders.
